Sly started laughing.
"What? Why are you laughing?" I released him from the hug and frowned at him. "Did I say anything funny? Is that why you are laughing?"
I don't get it.
It's not as if I said something worth laughing over. It makes no damn sense.
"I loved the way you showed her what you are capable of," Sly gently ruffled my hair.
"Hey! Do you want to spoil my hair?" I narrowed my eyes to slits, at him. "If you have nothing to do, then seek for something else. Stop ruffling my hair!"
"What else should I do?" He placed both hands under his jaw as if in deep contemplation.
"Are you certain that you are not angry with me?"
"Why should I be? It's not as if you did something wrong." Sly smirked, "I came here twenty minutes ago."
"What? Why didn't you make yourself known, then?"
How could he have watched me for that long without making me know of it? It sounded a bit creepy.
Well, he's good at that.
