"Let's go to class." I rose from the floor, dusted my clothes, and took her hand in mine.
"That's true. We might be late, should care not to be taken." She picked up the things we bought, while I took out bags.
We ended up going to class three minutes before class started. And in that three minutes, we finished eating our meal, which was a feat.
Brit grinned, "this is the fastest I've eaten something."
"I won't say the same about this."
When I was still in high school, eating this fast isn't a feat for me.
Back then, I was the fastest eater.

"Let's not follow the same lane." Brit took my hand in hers, to stop me from going to the same place we went through before we saw the thugs.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't want to meet them," she frantically shook her head.
Brit has tried to act strong since we left the alley behind, but I can tell she's affected by the presence of those men.
