Nicholie and the adventurer team started walking through the forest.
While going through, Nicholie felt weird because the forest felt so strange. It's look like they enter in another forest.
Nicholie's POV;
What happened? I could feel something is wrong here. It's not the same energy I felt when I first came here.
When they are about to enter in the dense part of the forest, the team leader stop walking. So everyone stop too.
"This is weird. When we came here last week, this part is not fully covered with long grasses." (The team leader said in surprise- Oliver.)
"I agree with you leader, It is not like this. And the path we take, it seems that this place has never been visited for a long time." (Gino-One of the adventurer.)
Nicholie and the adventurer team continue walking even though they are struggling because of tall grasses and plants all over the forest. The good thing is that the weather is good.
When they are about to reach one eight part of the forest, the team leader decided to stop.
"Everyone listen! it's already past two o'clock. We need to stop and eat first. We some energy in order for us to continue and go through out this forest." (Team Leader said in a loud voice.)
"That's I wanted to ask. I am already hungry." (Bryan replied to their team leader)
Everyone burst into laughing of what Bryan said.
"Alright! Find your comfort spot and start eating. We need to hurry in order for us to reach the core of this forest before night." (Team Leader)
"Yes sir!" ( Everyone replied)
Everyone sits comfortably to the ground. They decided to sit near to each other so that everyone can share their food to others.
"Nics' your mom's food really is the best. Thank you for becoming mu friend. I get a chance to eat what you eat." (Vein said to Nicholie.)
"My mom really loves cooking. And I am happy to share it with you boys. Being a one and only child, I am happy that I found a brothers from other womb. With that, I am great full and thankful." (Nicholie replied)
"And thank you too bro." (Alexis said.)
Nicholie and others finished their food hurriedly.
After eating, the team Leader tell them to rest for a while before continue walking to avoid stomach discomfort.
While resting, Everyone decided to chit chat a little.
Nicholie rewind what he feels upon entering the forest. So, he decided to tell it to Alexis.
"Xis, did you feel something upon entering the forest?" (Nicholie ask Alexis.)
"The sudden changes of the environment?" (Alexis replied.)
"Yes, and also the aura. It's kind of weird." (Nicholie said.)
"I agree. Somehow, I feel that we enter in another forest. Because, you see, the trees feels like lifeless,and the grass all over grows a lot. And I didn't heard any single bird that chirp." (Alexis explained.)
"I feel the same way too." (Byron suddenly appear.)
"You too bro?" (Alexis ask.)
"Yes bro! When we first came here I saw a colorful birds on the trees. I also saw a squirrel and some other non harmful animals. But today, I didn't sense any life here." (Byron said.)
"Maybe something happened here. A magic or spell." (Vein suddenly interrupt from nowhere.)
"Hey! We are serious here." (Byron said.)
"I'm serious too guys. When I was young, my grandma told me something about this forest." (Vein said.)
"Common bro, spill it out." (Byron said.)
"Well, my grandma told me that this forest was protected by werewolves. These creatures can transform into human during the day. That is why they free to roam around the city. But they need to go back to the forest before the sun set. Or else, they will be found by humans. And my grandma also said that there are organization leaders who protected this forest by creating laws to not enter the forest." (Vein explained.)
"But how come we can enter this forest now?" (Alexis ask.)
"My dad said, maybe the leader that protected this forest is dead or is not a leader of that organization anymore." (Vein explained.)
"Oh! Maybe they revised the laws right away when the previous leader died." (Alexis said.)
"And that is why humans can enter freely now in this forest." (Nichole said.)
"Then what is the reason for this weird environment now?" (Byron ask.)
"Well, my grandma said, if ever the forest becomes weird, the wolves already created a spell to protect themselves from us, humans. I just don't know what protection did they exactly do." (Vein said.)
"So that's it." (Nicholie said.)
"Do you believe in that Nics?" (Alexis ask.)
"Well, how can I not if I experience it myself." (Nicholie replied.)
"You're right." (Alexis said.)
Then suddenly the team leader ordered them to get ready to continue walking.
"Alright guys! I think we had enough rest. We will now proceed and continue this journey." (Team leader said.)
"Yes sir! (Everyone)
Everyone started packing their things and is about to go.
Nicholie, his friends and all the adventurer resume walking as commanded by their team leader when all of them are ready to go.
They keep going until the sun is about to set and everyone felt tired and hungry.
"Ok everyone!I think it's getting dark. It is safe for us to stay here before the dark cover this forest. You can now find your spots and comfortably rest." (Team Leader)
Everyone put down their things and rest themselves a little before setting up their tents.
When everyone have enough rest, the team leader speak up.
"I think everyone have enough rest. We can now prepare our foods and tents. I encourage everyone to help." (Team leader)
"Yes sir! (Everyone)
Everyone moved as instructed by the team leader.
Nicholie and his friends helped in preparing tents.
"I think this is all I can do since this is my talent." (Byron said.)
"I think so." (Vein teased Byron.)
The four of them laugh and continue chit chatting while setting up the tents.
When everything is ready, the team captain gathered everyone to start eating their dinner.
"Guys, form your line here and get your food. Please wait until everyone get their food so that we can pray." (Team leader)
When everyone get their food, they start praying. After that, they start digging up thier food.
After dinner, the team leader gather everyone.
"Guys, as we you know these forest felt something different. Please refrain from going out in your tents and always keep yourselves near each other for everyone's safety." (Team leader.)
Yes sir! (Everyone in chorus.)
After some reminders and announcements, Nicholie, his friends and the other members get into their tents. No one tried to roam around the forest that night to assure their safety.
Nicholie wanted to find the water falls where he saw the wolf, but he was hesitant because the grasses where tall and he think he might get lost. So he decided to stay on thier tent and sleep with his friends.
The following day, the team leader start talking on the megaphone that leads everyone to waken up from their sleep.
"Good morning everyone! Sorry to disturb your sleep. I know that you are all tired and sleepy. And so do I. But we need to get up to continue these journey so that we can go back home as early as we can. So please get up, and lets start preparing our food and after, we will continue walking." (Team leader)
Nicholie and his friend, get up from lying and they start to disassemble their tent. Other member do the same and some help in preparing their meal.
After eating their breakfast, and resting for awhile, Nicholie and everyone starts preparing to continue their adventure.
"Alright! Is everyone ready?" (Team leader)
"Yes we are ready!" (Everyone)
"Ok! Let's do this. Let's go!" (Team leader)
Nicholie and everyone starts to walk following their team leader.
It's already past 1:00 o'clock pm when the team leader saw a bright path going out to the forest.
"Guy's Im already seeing outside of the forest!"
"Really sir! Let's hurry so that we can go back home!" (Rodel, one of adventurer.)
"Tha'ts what I want to. I want to lay in my soft bed already." (Byron , Nicholie's friend)
"That's why we need to hurry. Let's run into that light."(Team leader)
"Let's go!" (Everyone)
Everyone starts running into the bright light until they reach it.
"What? Our bus is there!" (Team leader)
"You are right sir! I think it's only 10 meters away from where we are standing." (Glen, one of the adventurer)
"Gosh! is this for real? Did we just do a U-turn? This is so funny." (Alexis)
"That's what I am thinking too." ( Nicholie)
"Anyways, since we are already here, let's walk into the bus so we can arrive at the City before the sun sets." (Team leader)
Everyone follows their team leader but still in disbelief of what happened.
When the bus starts moving, everyone started closing their eyes to get some nap. But Nicholie still can't believe about the forest.

I still can't believe of what just happened. I am pity sure something happens. it's not the way out. Is the light I saw last night has something to do with it?
