Odette fell silent for a moment, remembering Uncle Mike, a psychiatrist who once helped her mother from losing control of herself. Uncle Mike was one of the people who played an important role in helping her and her mother. The man was also the one who motivated her to become a psychiatrist.
It all started when she saw her mother, who so far didn’t talk much to anyone, speak at length while occasionally laughing.
Then, as time passed, her mother’s mental condition improved, and it couldn’t be separated from Uncle Mike’s help.
Odette didn’t expect her mother to tell Uncle Mike everything, including her origins.
