At an old mansion in the corner of the city, Rad finally woke up after being unconscious for several hours. Losa was seen standing beside the bed.
“Finally, you’re awake,” said Losa.
Rad didn’t say anything. He remembered what had happened to him after drinking a mouthful of Odette’s blood. His body was burning from within. He even thought that he would die from it.
“Where is she?” Rad asked as he held the nape of his neck.
“She’s been imprisoned. What exactly happened to you?” Losa asked back, and Rad told her about how he felt after drinking Odette’s blood.
“In the past, the divine sapphire was used to absorb and store your power. I think when you drink her blood, the sapphire’s power absorbs your power again.” Losa conveyed her assumption, but the assumption was wrong.
