“Bee, finish your food and sleep.” Odette walked out of the kitchen into the living room while carrying the last piece of the pie.
“Your Highness, I will excuse myself,” said Amy.
“Thank you, Amy.”
Amy nodded with a smile and then left the house while Odette approached her ‘child’ who was playing with a paper boat.
Odette fell silent for a moment while watching the man.
Rion, who was being taken over by Bee, looked cute playing like that, but he also looked pitiful.
Bee was proof that Rion didn’t have a happy childhood.
Odette remembered that her childhood was also challenging. She went through many difficult times, but she faced them with her mother. Her mother didn’t demand that she had to be a perfect daughter. Even if she did wrong or failed an exam, her mother wouldn’t be beaten or cursed her.
It was totally the opposite of Rion. If the man did wrong, he would be beaten, and if he failed, he would be cursed with such hurtful words.
Odette sat down next to Bee.
