Odette looked at the man bitterly. She then told Anwen about Doctor Alex who came to see her yesterday and informed her about Rion’s condition.
“Well, that’s true. He was devastated after learning the truth of Aathreya,” Anwen said sadly. Odette looked at her closely, trying to see the change in the young girl’s expression.
“How about you?” Odette asked Anwen.
“I was also devastated, but the feeling wasn’t as heavy as what Rion felt.”
Odette was silent for five seconds before deciding to ask. “After finding out that the mastermind of the tragedy six years ago was my grandfather, do… you hate me?”
Anwen was stunned.
Odette continued and added more facts about Aathreya. “My grandfather used magic on your mother.”
“I know, but it’s not your fault," said Anwen. "Why do you think I hate you?”
