After saying a few words as a formality and a form of courtesy, Rion and his entourage returned to Panthera Kingdom.
Duke Adhelard was still staying in Arawn Kingdom to sort things out. Rion felt that the incident would definitely destroy Arawn and Adhelard’s relationship although not completely, but there must be some estrangement.
That was good!
The sound of horses’ hooves and the wheels of a carriage passing through the road were noisy.
“Rion, what did Prince Drystan say to you? And who is Freddy?” Odette started a conversation in the carriage.
“Freddy is the older brother of the late Queen Isabelle. He told Zerge to kidnap you for revenge.” Rion only gave half the information.
“I see.” Odette thought that Freddy wanted to have revenge against Rion. “Drystan doesn’t seem to blame you for Rose’s death. He still calls you brother-in-law,” she added.
For a moment, Rion glanced at Odette. “Hm. Yes…”
