At the same time, Odette and Rion walked in and found Prince Drystan standing by the window, facing them while smiling. “Welcome, Brother-in-law,” he said.
The couple furrowed their brows in unison.
“Do you realize where you are now?” Rion asked in a flat tone.
“I’m sorry, Brother-in-law. I wanted to talk to you privately, but everyone always followed you. The only place they can stop following you is this room. Please forgive my impudence.” Prince Drystan put his hand on his chest and bowed slightly as a sign of apology.
When the prince spoke, Odette paid close attention to him. The young man’s tone was calm and composed. His smile was also friendly and warm.
Until now, he still even called Rion by the nickname of ‘brother-in-law.’ It meant that he still considered Rion as his brother-in-law. He didn’t seem to blame Rion for Rose’s death either.
