Night had come. Rion and Odette were in their room. Odette already wanted to sleep, but she cancelled her intention when she saw Rion, who was sitting on the back of the bed while daydreaming.
Odette, who was in a lying position, sat back up. She then looked at Rion intently.
“What’s wrong?” she asked.
Rion’s gaze that had been on the wall forward turned to Odette spontaneously. He smiled as he reached out to stroke the girl’s hair.
“It’s okay, go to sleep,” he said softly.
For a moment, Odette was silent. She looked deeply into the face of the man in front of her.
“Are...you thinking of Helen?” She asked hesitantly. She added, “The bride is Lady Lucia Adhelard, that means Lucas’ family is here. Are you restless thinking about them?”
Rion lowered his hand. “It’s hard to hide things from you.”
“That’s why don’t hide anything from me.”
Rion laughed lightly while nodding his head, but soon his laughter disappeared and his expression turned gloomy. He sighed again.
