While they were both busy, Aathreya came over, planning to take Narine back to Randle Mountain.
“Right now?” Narine somewhat objected. Staying in the palace felt like being at home because of the many cakes.
Aathreya nodded slowly while Anwen looked at Aathreya. She remembered that Aathreya was Odette’s grandfather.
“So, you already know about Alice’s identity, huh?”
Hearing this, Anwen’s eyes opened wider, showing a thin line of surprise.
“I told her about it.” Cristela came from behind, while Erina and the maids who used to follow her watched from afar.
Aathreya glanced at her. “People won’t think you’re mute if you’re quiet.”
Cristela smiled sarcastically. “So, you want to go back to the mountain? Why not stay here? It’s more comfortable here.”
“Whether I live in the mountain or in the palace, it’s none of your business,” Aathreya said lazily.
“I only pity you. You are very old.”
Aathreya glanced at the wrinkles on the woman’s face. “Tell that to yourself.”
