Rion continued, "We can't be husband and wife, because we don't love each other, but we can be friends. We can care for and love our child together. One day, if you like a man and you want to marry him, let me know. Don't worry about anything, I will make sure you two live happily."
He swallowed. He uttered the last sentence bitterly.
What did he just say? If one day Odette came to him and ask him for a divorce because she wanted to marry the man she loved, would he be able to do it? Will he be able to let go and give up Odette for another man?
Just the thought of it made him scared.
"Then what about my child?" Odette asked him curtly.
"You mean our child?"
"Whatever. If I marry another man, will you allow me to bring my child?"

Odette narrowed her eyes.
Rion explained, "That child will be the successor to the throne of Panthera, so he must remain in the palace, but I will not forbid you to meet him."
"You don't think about my child's feelings—"
