How to proceed from here?
Adrian was taking his sweet time to stare at her. He did not even try to fill the silence in between them.
"So.." She cleared her throat, possibly making it even more awkward and already was for her, "Charles is coming back to office after lunch."
"I know." He replied.
He did? "Did he already tell you?"
"I happen to know everything about my chief employees. He is the one I share most of my workload with. So I know where he is most of the time." He finished and then took a good long gulp of the coffee. "Do you have any plans for lunch?"
Did she? "No, not really. Mason is supposed to show me how he makes his favorite salad."
He nodded, like he cared for the green leaves. "Tell me then, would you be interested in knowing how to dress green leaves for consumption or would you like to have pasta?"
