Joyce pressed on her ankle and breathed out slowly before raising her other foot in the air. She placed all her weight into the once injured ankle that had now been healed completely.
"Good," the physician replied, "if you can do that, then we have come a long way."
Joyce smiled, unable to hide her happiness, and turned to look at Daphne who winked back.
The physician told her a few more things, mainly to be careful about her ankle and not be careless with it. Because if a bone was injured once, then it should not be tampered with in any way, and the effects can be very long-lasting. Everything was something that she had read on the internet while she was researching how to heal quickly so that she could finally get back to her feet without everyone worrying for her.
The physician had finally taken her off every medicine that he had once assigned to her. No more physical therapy and no more visits to any hospital or clinic.
