A full Sunday roast had been prepared for her. After the food that she had been given in the hospital, Joyce welcomed the feast with open arms.
Joyce had woken up late and Margaret Had already left for her school. Charles was going to come in a few minutes and Adrian had just left to attend a quick call, leaving her and Daphne alone.
"Where's Katrina?" She noticed the empty space where there was no plate.
Daphne smiled but it seemed a little forced. "After Adrian came back, she left two days later. Everything is alright. It was time she returned."
"Oh?" She left?
"Yes, she wanted to wait until you were found but Adrian asked her to leave and come back when you would be healthy enough to entertain her. Possibly in the next few months. Katrina did leave you her number."
That was good. At least they would have some communication now.
