Joyce had taken the advice Katrina had given her. First thing first, she had texted Toby about what she felt and surprisingly, the man took it seriously. There was more security around the house and around her. Since Daphne and Katrina had no plans of going out, Their security detail was at home only.
Something told her that Gavin knew about it as well, and if anyone had to go out, he was probably going to oversee all of it.
"All of this seems like a bit too much. It could just be a fluke." Joyce said to Tobey as they were on the way to the office.
That was something she was going to hate if it were to happen. Well, she was going to hate it either way. But if it turned out to be just a fluke, then all of this would be for nothing.
"I would rather have it to be a fluke than anything else. Hopefully, that is what it is." He smiled before turning back and facing the road in his passenger seat.
