The Del Rosa was one of the most famous restaurants of London. Expensive too.
The reservations could go on for more than six months at a stretch. So, unless someone had a name that was well known, they could only dream of dining in the restaurant.
But of course, Michael did not need that. He only had to say his last name for the reservation to the hostess and they will lead to the table that he had booked.
"Lunch," Joyce politely concluded. "Thank you for taking time out for me."
He flashed her a quick smile. " I like the way you talk. Your parents have taught you well."
Well, thank you for that. What a compliment that was. She had waited for her entire life to hear that from her husband.
Instead of saying all of that, Joyce just ended up politely nodding again, and taking the menu.
"Joyce, I would prefer it if you do not drink at the moment. I have to take you home to your father."
