Her proposal; the one that she had always dreamed about knowing that it was never going to come true. Her proposal had come true. Her husband, future husband, was on one knee in front of her, with a huge beautiful ring that she had always imagined to have!
"I.." Joyce started at him, still trying to believe that it had come real before glancing at him, and then the ring repeatedly. "Yes." She breathed the word softly with a breath of air.
"Yes! Adrian, Yes, I will marry you!" She jumped and happiness, clapping her hands in glee with tears in her eyes that she was unable to control. Adrian held his hand out for her to take and she slipped it within seconds.
Joyce stared at her hand that was shaking in his grip. He slowly placed the ring around her nail before sliding it in. Bringing her hand closer to his lips, he kissed the ring and then her knuckles.
