It was Christmas and Amara was having a great day. She had Christmas breakfast with Ian, Charles, Dorothy and Ian's grandparents. Everything seemed to going smoothly until she received that call from that mysterious person, "Excuse me." She said abd then she got up and she went outside. "Hello, what do you want this time?" She asked
"Relax baby doll, first of all merry Christmas. Guess what I have prepared a gift for you it will be there in a moment. I am really sure that you will like the gift that I have prepared fir you princess." He said. "I see you are having a great time with your former in laws and ex-husband." He said.
"How did you know that I am no longer married to him?" She asked.
"That is for me to know and for you to never find out, wait for the gift, I am sure that you will have a fine Christmas." He said hanging up the call. Amara sat down on the chair, she didn't know what kind of a gift she was going to receive, she just hoped that it wouldn't be anything bad.
. After ta few minutes someone knocked on the door and Amara rushed to the door to open it. she opened the door she found a gift box. She looked around but she didn't see anyone, it looked like the person who brought the gift seemed to have left soon after knocking on the door. She opened it and she found two baby dolls that had blood on them and inside was a note that said:
'I HOPE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED MY CHRISTMAS PRESENT. I AM JUST TELLING YOU TO WATCH OUT AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU TAKE GOOOOD CARE OF YOUR BABIES BECAUSE WELL YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN.'
The word that cough her attention was the word 'babies'. She didn't understand what the person meant. "Ian!" She called out. Ian sat up from his seat and he went to where Amara was, he saw her holding a gift box. He got a closer look and he saw what was inside.
"Who sent this?" He asked.
"It's him. Ian what does he mean by babies, I am only carrying one child, right?" She asked.
"Well... No you are carrying twins." He said.
"What? How cone I never knew about it?" She asked.
"I wanted to tell you today to make yotr Christmas day better, you know as a surprise." He said. That was a lie he was not planning on telling her.
"Well that's great, I guess someone spoiled the surprise anyway let's go back to the dining hall before everyone gets worried or suspicious that something might be wrong." Amara said.
"You go back first I have to make a phone call." He said. Amara nodded her head and she went back into the dining hall. Ian took out his phone and he dialed Louise's number and he called him.
"Hello boss, oh merry Christmas!" He said loudly.
"Well it is not a merry Christmas for me. Dud you find out who this person is that keeps calling Amara?" He asked.
"OH well, boss the thing is I have been busy lately and I haven't been able to investigate." He said laughing nervously.
"OH really, do I pay you so that you can't do your job. I am giving you one more week and if you can't find anything by then you will forget about ever seeing your girlfriend and child again." He said.
"What, boss what has gotten into you? You are not usually like this, did something happen?" Louise asked.
"Just do your job." He says hanging up the phone. He didn't want to be hard on Louise but he was starting to lose patience. He knew that he was not dealing with an ordinary person so he had to act fast but carefully not to make any mistakes because of he didn't find out who this person was then he wouldn't know who to fight and how to fight because every person have their own weaknesses and strengths.
Time seemed to be moving a lot quicker than they thought, before they knew it, it was 10pm. "Brother is it okay if Amara sleeps with me?" Dorothy asked.
"Well that's up to her." Ian said.
"I am okay with sleeping with her." Amara said.
"Too bad you and my brother divorced." Dorothy said seating down on the bed. They were now in Amara's room.
"How did you know that?" She asked.
"Well I have my ways, anyway there's something I have been meaning to ask you Amara. Did you ever love my brother?" She asked. Amara sat down on the bed. She knew that she never loved him but she didn't know how to tell Dorothy. "It's okay be honest I won't judge you." Dorothy said with a smile on her face.
"No I never did."
"Then why did you marry him?"
"I wish to tell you the truth but now it's not the right time to do it." Amara said.
"Did he force you to marry him? I know that he is capable of doing that." She said.
"Dorothy can we not talk about this today, I am really exhausted and I want to sleep." Amara said.
"Fine don't tell me, I won't force you to do it but I would really appreciate it if you were to open up to me, maybe it would help you to feel better because suppressing your emotions and keeping everything to yourself does not make things any better for you, it will only make it harder for you to live your life." She said.
"Dorothy look I do wish to tell you but now is not the right time, so please understand." Amara said.
"Alright then I will respect your decision, but I am always free for you, so you can call me anytime to talk." She said.
"Good night Dorothy." Amara said.
"Good night Amara." Dorothy said and both women fell asleep.
