Gao Pan furrowed his brows after seeing Gao Lan. He didn't expect ever to see the woman again. After what he did to her, he figured she would stay the fuck away from him. Not only that, but her face looked as good as new.
This drew a smile on Gao Pan's face. Gao Lan continued to clap while walking toward the arena. After receiving a signal from Gao Pan, the highwaymen forming a perimeter around the arena moved aside to let her pass.
"Hehe, I must admit, I thought the time when I threw you out into the street was the last time I saw you. Or, at least, I expect the next time I see you, it will be you charging at me with your weapon ready."
"Perhaps you are not wrong about it. I challenge you to fight in this arena!" Gao Lan exclaimed.
Gao Pan displayed a surprised expression upon hearing the challenge. He then burst into laughter.
