Yon Niang watched the three left. Her face was filled with disgust. She wanted nothing but to kill all these villagers who had murdered her husband, but she couldn't do that yet. She needed these villagers for her daughter's sake.
She turned her attention to the table with the refreshments. She went to the table. A little enjoyment was okay, but she had no plan of touching the tea and cake. After everything that happened, she didn't trust the villagers. They could try to poison her. She only ate the food and drink she prepared herself. She kept an eye on her daughter, who was playing in the park.
Once she sat down, Amon and Tuang Yin emerged from their hiding places. The table was set so it was right between the two. With the two coming from opposite sides simultaneously, Yon Niang's attention was divided.
Tuang Yin's hands were ablaze as she rushed forward.
