"HOOMEEE!"
Larissa happily ran inside her house and jumped on her sofa-bed as if she had been gone for so long that she missed it.
"Do you love it here better?" Jerrod asked while he dragged the bunch of items they brought from the festival. He left it in a corner and then sat beside Larissa, who was lying on the sofa-bed facing down.
"There is no better place than home!" she emphasized, while still with her face on her pillow.
Jerrod played with Larissa's hair and softly commented, "It's nice to have one..."
"Hmm? Speaking of houses," said Larissa as she rolled and laid her head on Jerrod's lap. "You don't have a plan to fix it?"
"Fixing it? My house?"
"Yep. Like bringing it back like it used to be?"
"Like it used to be?" Jerrod repeated what Larissa said and looked up at the ceiling as he tried to recall what his house used to be like. "After what happened to me, I don't feel like filling it up with things again."
