Klay sat up in bed, her eyes shining with renewed energy. "I feel much better, Mommy. Thank you for taking care of me."
Larissa set the tray down on Klay's lap, and together, they enjoyed a simple breakfast. The room was filled with a sense of contentment, and Klay couldn't help but feel grateful for the love that surrounded her.
After breakfast, Jerrod joined them, carrying a small bouquet of freshly picked flowers from their garden. "These are for you, champ," he said, handing the bouquet to Klay.
Klay's face lit up with delight as she smelled the fragrant blooms. "Thank you, Daddy. They're beautiful!"
Jerrod smiled and ruffled her hair affectionately. "We're so glad you're feeling better, Klay."
