The crickets are singing along with the electric generator's noise as the background music.
It's already an annoying sound for someone who wants to fall asleep, but there's another noise that makes the deep countryside night miserable; it's the melancholic voice of a regretful man.
"Have you ever done something in life that you ended up regretting?" Jerrod one-sidedly speaks to Axel as they lay down together in one room.
Axel didn't even bother to respond to him, but he remained awake, as Jerrod sounded like a ghost haunting his sleep.
At first, Jerrod just plainly grumbled at many things, like how inconvenient this village lifestyle is and how he still can't take any serious positions in his parents' company. However, later in Jerrod's monologue, he speaks about something he regrets, which is obviously Larissa.
