Lightning blasted down with a fury, overturning the very earth with it's fury, as Cole brought down all the fury of the heavens down on the Darklings as the earth was overturned and scorched. A particularly large bolt of lightning surged through the skull of one of the whales, causing it to let out a loud screech of pain as its body tilted in the air and began to fall to the ground.
Normally that wouldn't be too much of a problem if Cole was not directly under the whale itself. Along with a significant portion of his company. He shot forwards, stepping out onto a bolt of lightning that crashed through a Darkling cyclops. Cole's form vanished, traveling the length of the lightning bolt to appear directly under the whale, as he pulled back his arm.
