Cole blinked a couple of times as he focused on his body. It had healed! He looked at his right arm, or what used to be his right arm and all he could see is that it had ended up in a smooth stump of soft black skin.
"The Void is the absence of everything, ultimate nothingness given form. Whatever skill or technique or ability to heal is nullified in front of it. Cuts or injuries caused by void energy are incredibly hard to heal or heal much slower than even a normal human's healing ability. Plus even if you had a chance to heal, you are in the void! A direct injury like that would not even heal, yet your body accepted the loss and sealed the wound shut, and quite cleanly too….I have to admit that would be a nice trait to have in the void."
