"…These days they make up anything. So, what's your plan?"
"I bought her a dress." Alex put down the shopping bag he was carrying on the bed. "The question is, does she know how to wear one?"
Lucas took out the dress from the shopping bag and inspected it.
"This one doesn't have any zippers. It has a big neckline, enough to put her head through without the help of a zipper. I don't mind helping her change into this dress."
He grinned.
Alex quietly stared at him without saying a word.
Lucas silently moved his fingers in front of his lips, acting like he sealed his lips.
Alex looked at Sakura. "You have to wear this dress. You have to wear it like this…"
He showed her how to wear the dress. "Can you wear it on your own or do you need the nurse's help?"
Sakura was delighted that the dress was pink colored with white cherry blossoms printed on it.
She grabbed the dress and started to wear it over the patient pajamas.
"Oh, oh wait, wait!" Lucas hurriedly stopped her. "You see, you have to wear it after taking off the clothes you are wearing."
He pointed at the pajamas.
Sakura lowered her head and looked at the clothes she was wearing. She suddenly looked displeased.
Maybe she didn't like how lame the pajama color was.
Afterward, what she did was beyond Alex and Lucas's expectations.
She started to unbutton the pajamas in front of them.
"Oh God! Oh my God!" Lucas hurriedly turned around.
Alex followed suit.
They could hear the rustling sound of the clothes.
Lucas whispered to Alex, "By the way, did you buy her a bra and panties? If you did, what sizes did you buy them in?
"I'm pretty sure you saw everything of her. So, there is no need to pretend that you don't know."
Alex pressed his lips.
Lucas noticed his expression and he thought of something. His mouth turned a big 'O'.
"Don't tell me you didn't buy any panties!"
Alex knitted his eyebrows and decided not to reply.
After she was done, she grabbed Alex's hand.
Alex and Lucas turned around.
Lucas whistled as he scanned her up and down. "You look gorgeous, babe."
The pink-colored frock complemented her pale skin. Her pink hair was in a disheveled state.
"How about I brush your hair?" Lucas suggested while taking out a comb from his pocket. It was his.
Sakura looked at Alex, waiting for him to say something.
Alex smiled in adoration. "You look pretty."
Sakura's face beamed.
"…" Lucas stared at them with a blank expression. "I'm still here, you know."
After that, Alex and Lucas drove Sakura to the new place.
When Sakura entered the apartment, her mouth was wide open.
She looked like she had no idea there could be a huge space in an apartment or two separate floors or couches or even a television.
It was the weekend and so, Mateo was home. He was watching business news on their 65" large-screened television.
A female reporter was reporting on the news channel.
Sakura dropped her teddy bear and jumped forward. She dashed in the direction of the television.
Mateo was focusing on the news. He didn't hear their footsteps.
When Sakura jumped forward, he was startled and almost jumped out of the couch.
"Oh Christ!" He jolted and looked at Sakura in horror as if he had seen a ghost.
"Dude, this is just lame. It's not even Halloween. How can you get scared in broad daylight?"
Lucas spoke from the hallway. He dropped the bag on the coffee table and sat on the couch.
Mateo marked a cross on his chest and said, "Ghosts can haunt in broad daylight."
"This place isn't haunted," Lucas retorted. "If there is anything spooky in this place, it's you."
"I second that," Alex said,
He collected the teddy bear Sakura dropped and carried it with him.
Mateo complained with a frown, "If there is something spooky here is that girl over there. I never wanted someone to join us. The moment her feet touched the ground, she tried to give me a heart attack."
"Look at her! Look at how she is staring at the large screen. Isn't she adorable? Aww!" Lucas looked at her with adoration.
"You are being creepy. She might be older than you." Mateo scoffed.
Lucas smirked. "Heh. Want to have a bet? If you lose, you are giving me a Lamborghini. And it has to be red."
"In your dreams. I'm going to go prepare lunch. When I get back, make sure she has already taken a bath and wears something that she hasn't worn outside. Otherwise I'll throw her out."
After giving them an ultimatum, Mateo left the living room.
Lucas looked at Alex. "If you want me to wash her, I'm in!"
Alex quietly stared at Sakura. With her big eyes, she was staring at the television. Her hands were touching the screen.
All of a sudden, she scratched the woman's face.
She was surprised that the woman on the television didn't react.
She scratched a few more times. When it didn't affect the unknown woman, she threw a punch.
Before her fist touched the screen, Alex caught her wrist. His grip was tight.
He said, "It is a magic box where you can see anything you like. You cannot punch it or break it. You have to take good care of it."
He patiently explained it to her with his gentle voice.
Even if Sakura didn't want to listen to him, she did. She nodded as if she was telling him that she understood.
Lucas was holding his breath. When Sakura moved away from the television, he let out his breath.
"Oh man, that was so close. If Mateo knew his favorite TV was destroyed by the new housemate, he would totally kick her out."
"I'll take you to the room where you will stay. Come with me." Alex held her hand and pulled her upstairs.
He didn't want to keep her around Mateo's precious television any longer.
On the way to her room, everything looked like a wonder to her. She acted like a baby.
When Alex opened the door of her bedroom, she entered the room. She giggled in happiness at what she saw.
