A second passed and nothing happened to Iwan.
Realizing that he wasn't feeling any 'kind' of pain that one could feel from getting skewered by a burning spear, Iwan let out a relaxing sigh.
"I guess it worked." Iwan mumbled to himself and felt a soft hand gently grabbing onto his shoulder.
The hand was cold enough to make Iwan tremble for a second as he slowly opened his eyes.
The first thing Iwan saw was a translucent golden shield and a black spear stuck right in the middle of the shield.
Just like a toothpick bouncing back after hitting the stomach of an elephant, the burning black spear, Helios bounced back. Though it bounced back exactly like a toothpick, it didn't fall, instead, it flew back to where it was thrown from.
"How did you do that?" A round white face that was more beautiful than a pearl suddenly appeared on Iwan's right shoulder as sweet words were whispered into his ear.
