Seeing their pain was enough for Gunzi to remember his past, and the times when he had to train till even the fibers of his body were dried entirely out of power.
Those were the times that had allowed him to reach this stage.
"They may just surpass me." Gunzi mumbled as Iwan and Cynthia's screams were dimming down.
"Uff." Iwan looked at his body and then at Cynthia who was also in as much pain as him if not more.
"Hey, come here." Iwan told her and gestured with his hand but Cynthia who was already full of resentment towards him didn't even spare Iwan a glance.
"Tsk." Iwan clicked his tongue and looked at himself once again.
'Even though we both have gotten used to the pain, it isn't showing any signs of decreasing. Rather, I can even feel a sting rising from all of my joints.' Iwan mumbled to himself as he could clearly feel a burning sensation rising from his joint.
