(Author's Note: I've seen multiple people commenting on Kevin's belief that he should be allowed to kill anyone who messes with his food, and how it is unrealistic in the real world as he would be locked up for it.
I'm here to say that the reason he has that personality trait, is because I have it too. I believe it is my right to stab someone to death if they mess with my food. Have I actually done this? Absolutely not! There are laws in place that prevent me from getting much needed revenge on the list of people I keep that deserve to be drowned in molten chocolate.
The point is, Kevin is now in a world where he can act on this desire without anybody being able to stop him. Suck it up and shut up about it.)
ON WITH THE MAGICAL GIRL SMACKDOWN!
***
[Name: Kevin]
[Age: 17]
[Form: Sylveon]
[Ability: Cute Charm/Pixilate]
[Type: Fairy]
[Weapon: None]
Unlike with her previous fights, Kevin didn't immediately start it off with a Move. Instead, she launched herself at the highest speed her legs would allow and attempted to clothesline the Dark Elf with an outstretched arm. Seeing it coming, the fencer dodged as quickly as possible, though she felt the pressure from the wind as the powerful swipe passed her by.
Landing a few feet away, the Sylveon grinned at her. "I see you were able to avoid my opening attack, Evildoer! It doesn't matter, though, as Magical Girl Sylveon has never lost a battle with the forces of evil before!" She conveniently left out the fact that she had never ENCOUNTERED the forces of evil before, either. "Since you are powerful enough to sidestep my opening attack, I will have to [Play Rough] with you!"
[Play Rough – Fairy Type Move]
[Description: The user plays rough with the target and attacks it. This may also lower the target's Attack stat.]
The Dark Elf wasn't able to evade this time, and was subjected to one of the oddest attacks she had ever experienced. Rather than kick or punch the taller woman, Kevin seemed to resort to playful acts of violence. These included rubbing the Dark Elf's arms in different directions to give her friction burns, biting exposed areas of skin just hard enough to break the skin but not much further, screaming loudly in her ears, and even kicking her in the butt to knock her to the ground. It was the most childish assault she could recall encountering, but she could also feel that they hurt much more than such juvenile antics had any right to.
Kevin giggled loudly as the Dark Elf tried to scramble to her feet. "You feel that, you evil creature?! That's the power of Friendship eating through your body! Now comes the power of Love!"
The Dark Elf tried to interrupt the girl by lashing out with her sword. Kevin seemed to be so caught up in her performance that she didn't see the attack coming, and ended up receiving the stab directly in the left side of her torso. Even though the older woman wasn't a Steel Type, her sword attacks still counted as Steel Type attacks, thus making it super effective. As blood leaked out, though, the cheerful malice she held did not wane. If anything, it grew.
"Thank you for coming closer!" she exclaimed, using one hand to grab the hair on the back of the woman's head, while the other quickly wrenched the sword out of her flesh. "Now you're close enough to experience the power of my Love! [Draining Kiss!]"
[Draining Kiss – Fairy Type Move]
[Description: The user steals the targets HP with a kiss. The user's HP is restored by over half of the damage taken from the target.]
The Dark Elf never couldn't have predicted that the little girl would forcefully pull their faces together and give her a steamy kiss. Even though it didn't go beyond them touching each other's lips, it was the most intoxicating kiss she'd experienced in her life. She almost couldn't feel her energy being drained away to heal the Magical Girl kissing her.
Kevin let her go when her wound had fully healed back. The Sylveon looked into the Dark Elf's eyes and saw the woman having an internal struggle as she was affected by the loli's Cute Charm. Cute charm's effect was that it could cause infatuation on contact with an enemy. Usually this would primarily affect someone of the opposite gender, but Kevin was technically a boy anyway.
However, the Dark Elf was disciplined enough to resist the cloud that was overcoming her mind. As she did, though, she began to wonder if that was how men felt when being hypnotized by certain monsters. If so, then she had a new appreciation for said monsters and their tactics.
Setting her new appreciation aside, she noticed that the little girl was fully healed again, while the Dark Elf was feeling much weaker. She began to wonder why she immediately jumped to violence when the girl, who had been a boy at the time, had been completely willing to talk things through. Hindsight is 20/20, after all.
Speaking of which… "I can see that you are stronger than me," she admitted, trying to appease the little girl. "If you would allow it, I would be willing to talk peacefully with you about bringing you to our village. Since you are not a man or a human, our leader should allow you in."
"Nope!" the girl happily refused without a second thought.
"That's good. Now, we can – Wait, did you just say no?"
"I did!" Kevin exclaimed, once again making a pose by pointing a finger at the Dark Elf. "You proved yourself to be a force of Evil when you refused to be nice to me earlier. As a Magical Girl, I can't allow you to continue existing in this world! As such, with my powers of Ultra-Violence, I'm going to brutally murder you and make a magical wand out of your bones!"
The contrast between the words and adorable little girl speaking them with childish enthusiasm only made the situation more terrifying for the Dark Elf. This child was actually planning on killing her in the most painful way possible, then desecrating her corpse to make a magic wand of all things. It was at that point where her thoughts went from 'I might have messed up' to 'Holy fuck, I'm going to die here!'
With that in mind, the Dark Elf turned around and immediately fled down the path toward the village. She needed to escape this little psychopath as soon as possible and alert the guards. She doubted that there was anyone other than the village's leader that could handle the incarnation of Cuteness and Brutality, but it was a better idea than staying here and waiting to be eviscerated.
As expected, though, the Sylveon wasn't one to give up her prey so easily. "Where are you going!?" she shouted in mock distress, running behind her enemy with just enough speed to keep her in her sights, but not to catch up. "I need your skull for my altar to Khorne! Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!"
It seemed that the more she spoke, the more demented her ramblings were becoming. 'What the fuck is wrong with this kid?!' the Dark Elf mentally screamed. 'First my bones, and now my entire skull!? And who is the Blood God?!"
From her distance away from the 'battle,' Alice was becoming more and more disturbed by Kevin's current evolution. At first, she thought that it would be as entertaining as his Jolteon form with its hyperactivity, or his Flareon form with its short temper. Instead, what she was watching was something out of a horror novel, with a demented spirit seemingly inhabiting the body of an adorable little girl and trying to kill her enemy in the most violent way possible while still acting cute about it.
'On the bright side, he didn't deactivate his sealing powers, so that's something,' the Monster Lord thought as she followed the chase scene. 'And speaking of powers, what the hell was that kiss? I thought he hated intimacy. I guess it doesn't matter to him when its purpose is an attack.'
The chase lasted for about five minutes, before another monster appeared. This one looked similar to the first in that she had a human shape and pointed ears, but that's where the similarities ended. Her skin was purple and her irises popped with their red glow, while her blonde hair was up in a ponytail. She wore a black dress with gold and purple designs on it, and if one looked close enough they could see the shifting of what looked like tentacles toward the edges.
[Dark Elf Mage]
[Type: Dark]
"Hey Lona!" she called out to the Dark Elf running toward her. "Why are you running? Is there a fire?"
The now named Lona only spared a single glance to her fellow village guard. "There's no time to talk, Marion! She's coming and if we don't run, we are both going to die!"
Marion only had enough time to mentally question the panicked statement before another voice shouted from behind her friend. "Magical Girl Sylveon won't let you go, Evildoer! You will help me quench my desire for violence, whether you want to or not! [Fairy Lock!]"
[Fairy Lock – Fairy Type Move]
[Description: By locking down the battlefield, the user keeps all enemies from fleeing]
The moment the little girl in the pink and white dress sprinted into view, four walls made entirely out of pink chains surrounded the area they were in. After they finished manifesting, a single large padlock made from the same energy as the chains appeared behind Kevin, and made a loud clinking sound as it attached itself to the chains and locked them together.
There was no escape now.
"I see you have another villain with you now!" Kevin shouted, pointing dramatically at Marion. "Hear me now, villain! I am Magical Girl Sylveon! With the power of Friendship, Love, and Ultra-Violence, I will rip out your skull and beat you to death with it!"
In all honesty, the Mage couldn't decide which part of her current situation disturbed her more: the little monster girl threatening violence on a level even she had never considered; the sheer power being emitted by said little girl; or the fact that upon hearing these words, Lona turned pale and immediately started clawing at the wall of chains with desperation in her eyes.
She was quickly able to determine that all three were disturbing, and ended up voicing her first thoughts on the child's declaration. "That doesn't seem physically possible."
Kevin's cheerful grin gained an edge of madness once again. "Not with that attitude it isn't! Here, let me show you how it's done!" She rushed toward Marion, who was now taking a defensive stance, before calling out. "[Spirit Break!]"
[Spirit Break – Fairy Type Move]
[Description: The user attacks the target with so much force that it could break the target's spirit. This also lowers the targets Special Attack stat.]
Marion was able to duck out of the way of the fist coming straight tor her face. Unfortunately, Lona was behind her at the time, and only had enough time to turn around in horror as the loli monster girl punched her in the face with enough force to knock her back into the chain wall. Her cheekbones audibly cracked, and her head turned 180 degrees, snapping her neck.
If Kevin hadn't had his sealing aura turned on, she would've been dead in that instant. Instead, she was knocked out and sealed to the size of a doll, collapsing onto the ground. To say Kevin was disappointed would be an understatement, but she still had one more vict – I mean, Evildoer to subdue.
So, the magical girl turned around and faced the shocked Dark Elf Mage. "She may have escaped my wrath, but you will not! I will use your blood to paint my shoes!"
Marion was caught between wondering how the little girl had sealed Lona, and wondering how much pain would have had to be inflicted on her to make the normally unfaltering Dark Elf faint. This was most definitely not a battle she could win, but maybe she could talk her way out of it.
"Why do you desire to hurt my friend and I so badly?" she asked, hoping to either resolve the issue with words or stall for time.
Kevin pouted. "I came here to visit Enrika and to try commissioning some sturdy clothes. But this evil creature –" she punctuated the word 'creature' by kicking the shrunk and unconscious Dark elf a few feet. "- didn't want to talk and immediately threatened me! As a Magical Girl, I can't allow such evil to exist in this world without punishment. By the power of Ultra-Violence, both you and her must pay for this!"
Marion was slightly taken aback. "What? Why me too? I didn't do anything!"
"I can smell the death and semen on you! You're no better than her, draining innocent travelers until they die just because they don't agree with you! For that, I will break as many of your bones as physically possible!"
"But why wou-"
"Enough!" the little girl shouted impatiently. "You've already had your last words, Evildoer! Prepare for pain unlike any you've ever experienced! [Nature's Madness!]"
[Nature's Madness – Fairy Type Move]
[Description: The user hits the target with the force of nature. It halves the targets HP]
As the Magical Girl raised her arms, the world around Marion seemed to shudder. Wind kicked up, painfully pushing her in multiple directions at the same time. The dirt and rocks beneath her feet rose up to try tripping and stabbing her. Tree branches extended and lashed out at her, their violent impacts causing snapping sounds to sound out throughout forest as they broke her bones. By the time the assault was over, she was lying on the ground. She was too disciplined to scream from the agony she was experiencing, but not so much as to keep her from whimpering.
Kevin, now standing over her, giggled in glee. "Yes! This is exactly what villains like you deserve! The pain that only a warrior of Friendship, Love, and Ultra-Violence can bestow. But…it looks like you're about to pass out! That just won't do! [Floral Healing!]"
[Floral Healing – Fairy Type Move]
[Description: The user restores the target's HP by up to half of their max HP. It restores more HP when the terrain is grass.]
Within seconds, all of the broken bones and lacerations on Marion's body were gone. She'd been restored to full health, though she knew that this wasn't a good thing. It just meant that the sadistic little girl could continue torturing her to her twisted little heart's content. The Dark Elf promised that if she made it out of there alive, she would make Lona experienced the horror of her tentacle summons.
Just as Kevin was about to unleash yet another round of Moves on the defenseless woman, a voice called out from behind the wall of chains. "STOP!"
Turning to see who the rude interrupter was, Kevin was met by what appeared to be a human woman. With long blond hair that flowed down her back, pure blue eyes that would remind one of the sky, and pale skin, she was the definition of beautiful. Kevin assumed that she must love the color green, as her elbow-length gloves, short dress, boots, and thigh-high socks were all varying shades of green with gold designs. Her expression was calm, despite the force she expressed with her shout.
"But why?" Kevin asked. "These despicable Evildoers deserve my righteous fury!"
The woman's expression didn't shift even a millimeter. "I am the leader of Enrika, and the women you are harming are under my protection. I would prefer it if you were to leave them be and speak peacefully with me."
Kevin thought about it for a few seconds. She COULD just ignore the pretty lady and continue torturing this Dark Elf for the crime of existing as a villain, or she could talk to the leader of the village she was heading to in the first place. Decisions…decisions.
"If I let her go, can you promise that you'll give me some new clothes?" the Sylveon inquired. "It's why I came here in the first place, after all! I heard in Iliasburg that your village makes really durable armor, and a Magical Girl such as myself needs the best of the best to keep from ending up naked in the middle of a slaughter!"
The woman nodded. "That can be arranged."
"Yay!" Kevin exclaimed, hopping up and down in glee, before looking down at the now-relieved Dark Elf. "You get a free pass today, villain! Pray that you never run into Magical Girl Sylveon ever again!"
She then skipped away in the direction of the blond, dispelling the [Fairy Lock] with a wave of her hand. "Lead the way, lady!" she cheerfully exclaimed. "By the way, what's your name?"
"My name," the woman replied, turning to lead what she was sure was a little monster girl back to the village. "Is Micaela."
***
It should once again be noted that Kevin was unable to feel embarrassment for anything he did in any of his forms. His lack of ability to feel regret made sure of that. He did, however, feel as if he was taking Psychic damage every time he recalled his words and actions in his Sylveon form. Even now, an hour after he'd shifted back, the mere act of thinking of the words "Magical Girl Sylveon" sent a spike through his brain and a shiver down his spine.
Alice had, of course, noticed the way that he subtly cringed every time the evolution, and what he did while transformed, was brought up. Which led to her subtly making references to it the entire time they were waiting in the village.
Micaela hadn't seemed outwardly surprised when Kevin had shifted back into a shota, though he suspected it would take a lot to get any sort of reaction out of her. As it was, she merely commented on how the first Dark Elf's actions made more sense now, and moved on.
At the moment, the Monster Lord and Eevee were waiting outside one of the few houses in Enrika. The latter had requested that the clothes he was provided look like the ones he was wearing. When they stated that they might not being able to do that in a timely manner, he asked if they would be able to reinforce the other three sets he had in his bag. After being told that it would take much less time to do that, they were told to wait outside.
Judging by Alice's reaction to entering the village, which she did while in her human disguise, the Eevee concluded that Enrika was most likely populated entirely by monsters, and that's why they turned away human visitors. It would be hard for them to avoid being attacked by heroes from the Ilias Temple if they didn't keep their secrecy.
When the door opened, Micaela exited the house alone, holding a stack of folded up clothes. Alice could detect the new enchantments that had been woven into them.
"Thank you," Kevin said as he took the clothes and put them in his backpack.
"It was no problem," Micaela replied neutrally. "It was a small price to pay for one of our guards attacking you like that."
The Eevee nodded. "I do understand why she did it, but you might want to teach your guards how to exercise restraint when someone just wants to talk. The next person they piss off might not have magical sealing power and may just slaughter them."
"I will take that under consideration," she stated. "Now, I hate to be rude, but I must ask you to leave this village. We do not need unwanted eyes looking this way, after all, and you two are particularly…eye-catching."
Giving their goodbyes, both Kevin and Alice left Enrika without putting up a fight. The got what they came for, after all, and were willing to let bygones be bygones and let the village keep its secret. It's not like they'd have any reason to come back someday, anyway, so why hold a grudge?
As they disappeared into the distance, Micaela stared after them. She could tell from the power given off by the lamia that she was the current generation of the Monster Lord, but the boy was an enigma. A male monster alone should be impossible, but one that can transform into other monsters? That defied even more laws of reality that until then, she thought to be unbreakable.
She just hoped that the world as a whole was prepared for the inevitable hurricane of chaos he would bring with him.
