Bai Liyue was livid when she realized that the rules put in place only seemed to apply to her and not to anyone else. She glared at Qin Yufeng, her eyes cold and piercing as she demanded an explanation. "Why can they leave and I can't?" she asked, her voice seething with anger.
"Because they are safe and you are not," he said.
Qin Yufeng's reply was calm, but it only seemed to further anger Bai Liyue.
"What?!" Her disbelief was palpable. "That's a lame excuse, Qin Yufeng. Tell me, what is really going on here?"
Despite her anger, Qin Yufeng remained calm and collected. "Love, there is no real reason. You are just overreacting," he said, touching her face.
However, she was having none of it. She pushed his hand away and fixed him with a fierce look. "Heh," she sneered mockingly, her fury reaching its peak. "Overreacting? Really, Qin Yufeng? Am I really overreacting?"
