Liam enters the historic building, lights a candle, places it on the table, and moves toward the book shelf where a large number of death records and missing file folders are organised. He quickly glances at the guard and asks him, "Do you have the records as to when and who removed the files from here?"
The guard gives a short nod before sitting down and opening a big book of records. "Sir, will you kindly move aside so that I can look at the time today?" As he moves his finger over the dates, names, and addresses in the book, the guard says as he moves Liam away from the candles.
"Sir, I think someone might have torn the page in the middle from the book," the guard adds as he pauses swiping his finger through the page in terror. As he grabs the book and closes it, Liam nods enthusiastically.
Another guard enters carrying meals for themselves, and as he approaches the table, he asks, "Do you need help?" while staring at Liam's face.
" Do you know if someone had visited this morning and taken the file of Drugs death records?" Liam asks, shaking his head.
Liam becomes suspicious and calls Michel as the guard dangles his hand and nods, saying, "There was a woman who stopped here around seven in the morning but she was wearing mask so I didn't got a nice look of her face."
On the other hand, Michel, who was playing computer games, receives a call from his brother. He switches off the computer and answers the phone while yawning loudly, saying, "Brother, find someone else for your works...."
Liam interrupts as he stands behind his car and smokes his cigarette, saying, "Shut up I'm coming into the apartment I need the room by myself go stay at your friends house." And hangs up.
[By the street, 10:30]
After the brief tour of the CNY company's gallery, Rose collapsed into a park chair, snapping her neck to it and sighing as she looked up at the stars. Her eyes were puffy from lack of sleep, and she had become exhausted.
As she opens her phone and scrolls through the screen, her cheeks begin to flush with anxiety as she finds message after message from her aunt and Susan, both of whom were pleading with her to call back right away.
The small dingling sound of her phone's notification caused her eyes to blink several times as the messages were delivering continuously in her phone.
She quickly moves her body inside the car and picks up her pace on the drive back home as she pauses there frozen with panic as she takes her keys out of her handbag and mutters in herself "Dear God! I should have assured them that I am not a girl who is so naive."
As Liam enters his kitchen in search of a quick snack, he unties his tie and turns on the heater.
He opens the freezer door and discovers a lunchbox with red beans and rice and curry inside. He takes it out of the box as he smells it and nods in agreement before popping it into the microwave to heat it up.
He then quickly strips off his shirt, exposing his broad chest and defined abs as he washes his hair in the sink with medium-hot water to freshen up.
"I apologise... I had a lot on. Have you set the box and the file out yet?" She says to Susan who was holding her line with Rose as Rose pushes the elevator buttons to get to her floor.
As Susan advises "Yes, I did it, but let me make a recommendation to you. I looked into Mrs. Mat's history; she has participated in competitive shows before; this time, New York and South America are competing against London. She won't just watch; she'll devise a strategy, so choose wisely. Bye, be careful."
After a brief talk with Susan, Rose hangs up, exits the elevator, and knocks on the door of her stay.
"heavens!! We were waiting for you, so where have you been?...." When Rose knocks again, the aunt answers, "Come inside, we ordered a good dinner and were waiting for you for dinner," with a surprised expression on her face.
Rose's dress and messy hair catch her aunt's attention. Rose enters the space after being dragged there.
While pouring himself a glass of rosemary wine and sitting on his sofa with his eyes closed and half-naked, Liam quickly consumes all the leftovers.
" I have a splendid idea for the show tomorrow; perhaps I should wear a green gown." Rose makes a timid gesture and says, "You millennials are amazing both in profession and fashion," as she opens her closet to her aunt who was seated on her bed.
As she delivers her aunt a peach bubble dress that was knee-length and had black fabric sheets protecting the chest of the dress, Rose chuckles.
"Try it, I have three more outfits in a row to make you wear," Rose growls into her eyes. As she follows Rose's aunt into the toilet to get changed, her aunt nods to her.
"What's wrong, Liam? You know I have a late shift tonight, what's wrong at this hour?" Deliana says while holding the phone by her shoulder, tying her hair up in a bun, and sitting in her chair.
"I understand, but what will I do once I arrive in London?" As he closes his eyes, Liam asks.
"What's up? You want my opinion on something? Find an excuse now. I need to prepare for the conference tomorrow, but I don't have time. Hello? Hey?....." Liam cuts in between the line to avoid Deliana's shrill voice as she continues to yell into the phone.
Liam quickly texts Derick about looking for a field where murder records are officially licenced under strict guidelines.
He then turns off his phone and drags his body to his bed, where he falls asleep despite the fact that he knows the thought of the murder case evidence will keep him awake all night long with the terrifying nightmares he used to frequently experience, which would leave his eyes wide with fear.
Rose woke up at 3:32 a.m., looked at her phone, sighed, sat on the bed with her eyes closed, covered herself with a blanket, and then quickly fell back asleep without opening her eyes a second time.
