Chapter 9 - The beginning part 2

Centuries passed by...

The cosmic egg fertilized and then hatched. Two beings, a male and a female, emerge from it. The trinity called them man and woman.

The two beings lived on the land surrounded by a beautiful, lush garden full of fruits and herbs. Long pillars of white marble supported monuments with a gold finish on the edges of the walls. They called this place paradise. The trinity created it for them. With time, they gave birth to ten offspring.

Out of these ten offspring, 8 could conjure up the soul energy. These offspring were far more stable and gifted in using soul energy. Unlike their predecessors, they were perfect. The first man and women, along with the trinity, taught them how-to manifest and manipulate soul energy.

At only 7, they can create oceans, destroy mountain ranges, and manipulate the weather. Their talent and power were acknowledged by the trinity, and hence they were given their own realms to rule and one job: maintaining the balance in the universe. These realms were the heavens and the celestial bodies themselves. The ones who ascended to the heavens were called gods.

Despite being born from the same parents, the other two could not conjure up a pinch of soul energy, much less can feel its presence. As a result, they remained on the earth and started their own civilization there. Those who remained on the land were called Mankind. They lived in caves. They used primary stone and bone tools and crude stone axes for hunting birds and wild animals and gathering fruits and herbs from nearby forests.

The first man and women cast out their own powers and remain on the earth. With their soul energy gone, their body became mortal with a limited lifespan. The gods were unhappy with their decision and requested their parents to live in heaven. But they refused, stating that, unlike them, the gods, their human children, and grandchildren are weak and can't survive this world without each other's support, so they will live with them to protect them and guide them with the knowledge given to them by the gods.

After listening to their explanation, the gods returned to their realms. But before they left, their mother requested them to promise something. The gods agreed and asked her what does she wants them to swear. She said with a gentle smile,

''After we are gone, take care of your siblings, their children, and the generations to come. It does not matter if you come in physical or spiritual form, but shower your blessings on them as we will be not around them for long.''

Realizing their parents now have mortal life, i.e., they will die soon, the gods, with tears on their faces, hugged their parents and promised. They will always look after Mankind and guide them as they did till the world ends, and if any hurdle comes humans can't face alone, then they will lend their help. The gods returned to the heavens after promising to look after Mankind.

It didn't take 700 years for Mankind to prosper and reach a population of 2,000. They advanced in the agriculture, technological, architectural, and textile sectors.

By the end of 1000 CE, people were separated into social groups or classes according to their responsibilities. These groups were based on talents and skills and were not hereditary. These groups were the priests, the royalty and the nobility, the merchants, the farmers, and the laborers.

The priests and the royalty who held the highest rank in these social classes were responsible for guiding and protecting the people. Coincidentally, or is it by fate, the one who became royalty or a priest was someone who had strong blood ties to the first humans. These people stand out from the rest of the world more quickly because of their skills and talents. Soon, the talents of these people were inherited by their children and descendants; these classes became hereditary.

While the population of Mankind increased by thousands, the time up above works differently. The third generation of gods was recently born. Since gods have an almost infinite life, their bodies do not possess the primordial instinct of species preservation, resulting in a low fertility rate. Another reason was the decrease in soul power in the new generation. If we compare the gap between the first and third generations, it would be one trillion to 1 million.

Because of these reasons, the heavens proceeded in the third generation only, and a hierarchy came forth with the third generation at last.

The hierarchy in the heavens became the trinity at the top, then came the elder gods (first-generation gods), second the mid-class gods (second-generation gods), and last, the lesser gods (third-generation gods).

Two thousand years had already passed the humans scattered all around the world formed many civilizations. Waging war for land and authority is a common occurrence now. Because of these senseless wars, the gods' jobs became more arduous because of the increased death rate. The flow of soul energy is running wild all across the world. The systems created by the preserver separate the impure and pure souls by sending the impure to hell for cleansing and the pure ones back to the cycle of life and death.

Year: 2000 CE,

Two thousand years have passed since the birth of humanity now, and wars are less frequent compared to the past centuries. Thus Mankind has reached a population of approx 5,000,000. They are now a very advanced civilization on multiple bases, including technological, intracultural, agricultural, and medicine.

Mankind which rules most parts of the world, divided the supercontinent of Pangea into 5 countries. These countries are Ufros in the north, Eclor in the East, Beblaulia in the west, Veflos in the south, and Astros in the center.

All seemed peaceful until, on that fateful day, it appeared in front of humanity...
