"Annaliese." The purple-eyed hybrid heard the whisper of her angelic side in her head. Instead of trying to regain control of her raging emotions, she allowed the domain containing both her and Oliver to collapse.
Annaliese stood in front of a full-length mirror, and her angelic side appeared with a smug smile on her face. A pair of large white wings appeared behind the white-haired woman on the other side of the mirror.
A crack ran along the glass surface as both women engaged in a heated stare-off. "I'd die before I allow you to leave here," Annaliese finally spoke.
Her angelic side chuckled, "Careful what you wish for; you might die earlier than you think." She placed her hand on the mirror, "The mistake you made still roams this world, and he's making his move now." Her lips spread into a smile as she continued to taunt, "You're weak, Annaliese; you won't stand a chance against him without my help."
