"Alia is pregnant," Gaia finally told him, but Taranis didn't say anything, so she added, "She is with child; your brother's child...Oliver's child."
"Yes, I get it," Taranis interjected.
Gaia could see genuine confusion on his face; she couldn't help but wonder if it was that impossible for Alia to be pregnant with Oliver's child. 'He's a vampire hybrid so he should be capable of reproduction.' Her eyes widened, 'Unless he's actually fully undead.'
She was anxious to hear Taranis' thoughts on the matter, but she wanted to give him time to process. However, her impatience and eagerness were getting the better of her.
Gaia tried distracting herself by focusing on other things like her skin against Taranis' smooth skin and his slender, toned arms wrapped tightly around her waist, but not even thinking of those were enough.
