"No, I can't leave just yet," Taranis told her while covering his eyes with his hands.
Gaia furrowed her brows, "What...What do you mean? This is the perfect opportunity for you to make your escape." She shook her head, "I can't guarantee there'll be another one."
"Alia is here; I won't be leaving until I find the truth."
"It was only a rumor the Goddess of fertility started," Gaia confessed. "Even I doubt that it's true and even if it was, it's hardly any of your business."
"If the rumor is true and Alia has the child of my younger brother inside her then it's certainly my business," Taranis argued. "If you truly know me as well as you say, Gaia, you'll know that my family means the most to me and will always come first...before even my own life."
"That unborn child is the son or daughter of my brother; it doesn't matter to me that Alia is his or her's mother...that child is family."
