"Where are you going?" Taranis questioned when Xander started for the door with the vampire he was talking to so discreetly.
"I have urgent work to attend to," Xander simply told him. He pointed at the phone on the small table by the bed, "If there's anything, you can reach me with that phone; I already added my number."
'Phone?' Taranis' eyes found the rectangular-shaped device on the table and a slight frown formed on his lips as he furrowed his brows, 'I don't even know what that is exactly, much less know how to use it.'
He, of course, couldn't tell Xander that because he was supposed to be a human from the modern world.
The phone lit up with a notification and he almost jumped in fright as he thought, 'What is it doing now?!' He quickly calmed himself so the two men staring at him wouldn't see his overreaction.
