"How can I be at ease with my body out there?!" Eros continued to angrily rant. "What if something happens to it? The water is rising fast, what if my body gets washed away and I can never find it and have to live for the rest of eternity as a mere head?"
Eros' face paled at the horror of the possibilities. "Everyone in the god realm will mock me; they'll call me the bodyless God of desire!" His eyes widened, "Father will disown me and they'll appoint a new incubus to be the God of desire! My stupid brother I bet!"
Eros was on the verge of tears as he went on and on. "How can I seduce anyone when I am only a head? I need my body, Elias...I need my body!" He looked at Elias who was only staring at the wooden door with an irritated expression. "Are you listening to me, Elias?"
"You're too noisy, Eros." Elias rested his forehead on the door, "I'm home, mother; open the door."
