For a moment, Elias was stunned, he couldn't believe what he was hearing from the mouth of the mother before him. 'She would really hand over her daughter so easily for scum like him?' he thought. 'This generation of humans sure are strange.'
"There were a time mothers would throw everything on the line to protect their children, and you so easily choose your good-for-nothing husband over your own flesh and blood? Woman where is your humanity?"
"P-Please," Katherine pleaded just the same. "Just take her and leave my family alone."
'And they say the creatures of Hell are the monsters,' Elias thought as he turned away from them making his way over to Amaira's closet.
His facial expression continuously changed between surprise, curiosity, and concern as he searched through her assortment of clothes. "When did women start wearing pants? And why does it look as if a wild animal had its way with it?" Elias mumbled to himself as he looked at a pair of light blue ripped jeans.
Being a man from the centuries way before the modern era, he was not versed in the fashion of the 21st century, so Amaira's closet alone shocked him on all the developments made in the fashion industry.
A red hue formed on Elias' cheeks as he took out a sheer black dress that he could see through clearly. 'Does Amaira really wear raunchy clothing like this?'
Thinking that Elias accepted her offer and was going to leave them alone upon taking Amaira, Katherine breathed a short sigh of relief and thanked God in her thoughts, but Elias burst her bubble.
"Is that what you think is happening?" he asked her without turning around. "You creatures have gotten more cocky and naive, but still not very smart."
Elias held up a floral dress, scrutinizing it with his intense gaze as he said, "I remember asking you to do something, I'm still waiting on it to be done unless you want to be without limbs the rest of your pathetic life."
"And don't doubt my words, Mrs. Hendrix, for I am without a humanity I will feel no regret or remorse, nor will I feel empathetic toward you," he added.
Katherine's wet eyes widened, she didn't think she deserved to be punished in such a way, so she quickly undressed her husband doing her best to not focus on the areas where his bones pierced his flesh. The sight made her physically and mentally nauseous, but she did what she had to do to save herself.
"You may return to your corner, Mrs. Hendrix, thank you very much for your assistance."
The woman moved away quickly from her husband's body, too terrified to even have glanced back at him as she did as told. She tucked her knees to her chest, burying her face in her thighs, but Elias wouldn't have it.
"Your punishment is to watch, Mrs. Hendrix; I want you to see all that I am capable of doing with my mind alone, so you can know how cautious you must be around my Amaira."
Elias started dressing Amaira in the underwear and floral dress he found. He was able to rid her body of the blood that soiled it, but due to him having to calm down his sexual urges at each passing second, her parents arrived before he had the chance to dress her.
He thought they'd leave upon seeing that she was resting, but was stupefied when he heard their vicious thoughts and voices, and later the harsh slaps that Amaira's father used to punish her in her unconscious state.
Oliver tried convincing him to not get involved, but he could only try and give up since Elias was overly stubborn and even more difficult to control, especially when angry.
Seeing Amaira's swollen cheeks infuriated Elias even more as he tucked her back into bed, so with his irises an even darker shade of red, he was done messing around.
"Gah Ahhh Ahhh!" George yelled with tears of blood flowing from his rolled-back eyes. His limbs twisted and cracked, bone after bone shot through his naked flesh, and his screams of agony intensified tenfold.
Elias kept his heart beating, ensuring that none of his bones would pierce his staggering heart as he bent his body some more.
George squirmed about the ground, arching his back as his spine twisted, and could only gasp harshly for air as his ribs twisted and slowly pierced his skin through his back.
He was experiencing firsthand, the consequence of making Elias angry.
George could no longer produce screams so Elias lost interest fast, but it just meant he was ready to wrap things up. He wrung him like a wet rag until his remaining bones shot through his flesh and blood violently sprayed everywhere.
Elias kept Amaira behind him so none of her father's dirty blood would touch her skin, but he ended up getting burnt a lot in the process. He was still not at full strength upon being revived so though he was healing, he was healing very slowly.
When the smoke emanating off Elias' skin cleared, there was only a lump of skin with white bones sticking from it in a pool of blood where George's body once stood as a whole. Katherine's insides churned and she vomited all over the floor after not being able to hold back her nausea.
Elias' irises got clear in color and his skin paled as he slumped to the ground by Amaira's bed. 'Great, I overdid it,' he thought, mentally preparing himself for Oliver to drill him later on about his recklessness.
His chest harshly heaved up and down as he stared menacingly at Katherine. "Treat Amaira better from now on," he started. "Because it'll only take one thought of her wanting you dead for me to kill you."
Katherine was in too much of a shock to react to what he said, but she heeded his words nonetheless.
A few minutes passed and Elias finally had the strength to get himself off the ground. He had just enough energy to clean up the mess he made in Amaira's room, but just as he was about to, a strange occurrence caught his attention.
He looked at George's disheveled corpse and thought, 'Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or did his finger just move?'
