Addison was unsettled after she hung up. She would be seeing Sky after work. She should really come up with something to say before then. But what? She had already agreed to be his girlfriend so doing a determine-the-relationship a second time would be weird but she supposed it wasn't entirely unheard of.
She just needed to come up with the right way to phrase it. The real question was how. She had never been good at things like this.
She wasn't very good at talking to people in a way that didn't make them angry. At least when it came to anything emotional. She always somehow managed to get her point across wrong and things only got worse when she tried to explain herself.
Even her own family often misunderstood her and they had known her the longest. It was a curse.
Addison was still nervous when she went to meet him. He didn't seem any different from usual and kissed her when he saw her before smiling. "Hi, Addison. How was your day?"
