Laney hadn't seen Olivia much since Karina was born because they had both been busy. Her with all the insanity that came with having an infant around and getting custody of Lissy and her friend with wedding planning.
It didn't help that it was around the holidays either. People were always busier then.
But because she hadn't seen her much (and had been rather preoccupied herself), she hadn't noticed that there was something off. Until tonight.
The bachelorette party that Laney had painstakingly organized despite the craziness because she loved her friend. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, which was a relief, but the bride-to-be seemed less chipper than usual somehow.
