Noelle was so shocked she actually turned her head to look at her friend. "How could this possibly be a good thing?!"
"Uh, because he likes you? Didn't we already establish that your mystery man had a crush on you? It totally makes sense now that we know he had known you for a while."
"Becca, you don't understand! Nothing about our online conversations paints me in a likable light. There's absolutely no reason for the Perry I've been talking to all this time to like me. I thought he was just saying supportive girlfriend stuff!"
"Supportive girlfriend stuff from a guy is more like supportive boyfriend stuff," Becca pointed out.
Noelle groaned. He had been very protective of her when she almost got mugged. That made a lot more sense now that she knew he actually knew her in some capacity.
