Collin texted Elle around lunchtime asking when she would be home. She didn't think much of it until she arrived back at the apartment and found that he had still warm takeout waiting for her. He timed that really well.Β
"Hey, beautiful," he said before pecking her on the lips as naturally as if he had done it a million times. "How was your day?"
"Pretty good. You weren't too bored, were you?"
"Nah. Spicy kept me company when I was looking into apartments. Oh, and I got a car too. I'm supposed to do some tours on Friday and, if I'm lucky, I'll be able to move in by the end of next week. Want to come with me or do you have homework?"
"I have homework."
"That's alright. You'll see where I end up moving sooner or later anyway," Collin said with a shrug. "How many hours a day would you say you spend studying on average?"
