There is no time to stare as all creatures crumbling alive keep chasing after us, from big to small, all creatures that once were free and full of life and populated an entire city are now eager to reach us no matter what, perhaps attracted by the same warm of life they were denied from. 

And yet as we descend into a crater my eyes slightly catch hints of our surroundings as we pass, the air and the fog around us being pulled towards the thick condensed ball of miasma simply floating in the air above us, and after many fleeing glances I can see what looks like a cloud river flowing towards it, meddling, twisting and turning around it and slowly increasing its mass, but at least freeing our view. 

I can tell that such hungry beast is quite the connoisseur for it ever so slowly tasted its surrounding, flowing sluggishly, its mere existence a disgrace to the ecosystem.
