When a long time had passed, Rosanna came back to the hut with her hunted prey and mushrooms.
"Cubs! Mommy's home~" She spoke loudly and at that, several little foxes ran up to her.
"Did you all miss mommy?" Rosanna asked with a smile and her pink eyes searched for a white one among the litter of cubs.
"Where is that cub…" Rosanna muttered and went inside. She sniffed the air and went to search for Kayra wherever the smell was strong but her search was futile.
"Cubs, where is that cute cub?" Finally, she turned back to her cubs and questioned, yet she only watched their squirming and heard some inaudible broken groans and moans.
But she did not find Kayra and became anxious. At dusk, when her husband came with coals. She jumped to him and cried out with tears, "Husband, that white cub is missing! Awoo~ I did not find her anywhere, Awoo~"
