I would love to investigate a little more and see what caused them. But these soldiers won't let me. I was brought right to the towering gate of the central plain, just outside of the throne hall.
Inside, I can see the other princes cowering in fear in their mother's arms. The king is standing upright with his jade crown and armored vessels. His bearded face was grim. This is the first time I saw his expression like that.
When the king noticed me, his eyes narrowed in annoyance. My brother seemed to take it upon himself to kneel on one knee in front of the King and explain the situation.
"Your Majesty, I found this vermin hiding in his room while you and the madams are here in front of the battlefield fighting for the lives of the common people."
Common people? I only see members of the royal family here, though.
