The door swung open and Keith came in with Jeff. They were holding takeout with porridges and ramen for everyone.
"Lexi!" Keith dropped the plastic bags he carried to the small table at the side and rushed to Lexi. "Are you okay? How are you feeling now? Are you hurting anywhere?"
Lexi became even more dizzy at Keith's enthusiasm. "I'm fine," Lexi managed to blurt out.
Lucien stepped in between to mediate. "Keith, let go, you're making her even more dizzy."
"O - Oh, so – sorry." Keith was still staring at her with worry.
"I'm fine," Lexi repeated. She got off the bed and checked on Alicia. Alicia no longer had wounds on her person. She was doing fine. Lexi breathed a sigh of relief.
