Victor was covered in blood in Aiden's arms. Arrows laced with abilities and sword cuts tore his body apart.
Aiden was too weak from the battle he escaped from. He could not save Victor. None of his healing skills worked.
Victor held Aiden's hands and tore them away from his bleeding wound. "I could not save you in time back then..."
"What are you talking about?!" Aiden pushed both his palms into Victor's critical condition and forced out every magic power he had to close the wound.
