The previous day at noon…
"Journalists from various media have visited the museum to cover the coffin. What's inside? We are intrigued by it. It is planned that tomorrow the coffin will be dismantled." Said the presenter.
"Hmmm… Interesting… Time for me to act." The grin of the winged creature in his residence when he saw the news.
On the evening of February 26, the winged man took the action. Wearing a purplish-blue costume with his back exposed, he flew through his black wings across the land lit by the full moon. The strands of his short black hair flew with the wind. He looked ahead with sharp dark blue eyes with a mask covering his face.
He mumbled, "Brrr! It's cold tonight. But this country is beautiful too."
At first, he flew around the museum to see what was going on. Then he slipped inside and hid his wings. He walked down the corridor like a normal human.
---CCTV and Security Room---
"I have to settle things here first," he muttered.
Knock… knock… knock… He knocked loudly on the door, so the guards automatically came out to check. At that time, he also made them unconscious.
Then, he entered the room. "Hmmm…. Not as many guards as I thought."
"Hey..." Greet this mysterious creature to the three remaining guards in there.
The guards were shocked and turned their heads. "Who are you?!"
"Who am I? You don't need to know." He answered.
"Hiya!!"
Fast as lightning, he knocked them out. Then, he set the security system there.
"Okay. Done." He muttered.
He exited and went to the place where the coffin was stored. Upon arrival there,
"Wow. There are still two guards." Mumbled the mysterious man.
In front of the door of the room where the coffin is stored. The guards talked to each other.
"Hey! Aren't you scared?" Said the guard.
"Afraid of what?" Answered the other.
"What if there is a creature in the coffin, then suddenly rises and pounces on us? We will be the first targets. Then he bites us, and we become undead."
"Don't imagine anything weird. But tonight, it's cold. I also got scared after you talked like that. The night feels so long."
"The coffin is a valuable item, so we especially guard it here."
"Yes, that is so."
"Yes. You are right. Inside that coffin is a precious figure." Mumbled the mysterious man.
Then, he threw his black fur which then stabbed into the guard's neck. In an instant, they fell because of the sedation. "Brak!"
"Sleep well and sweet dreams." Said the mysterious man.
He took the access card and opened the door. When he saw the coffin, the man smiled with joy and enthusiasm. He also checked the CCTV location and then smashed it through the tip of the feather stalk with one throw.
"Ok next is the coffin. This coffin cannot be opened directly by all of you. Because the one who can open it is me."
He broke the seal of the coffin with his palm touching the lid of the coffin. Slowly the lid of the coffin shifted and opened. A very handsome man wearing a long black shirt and long white curly hair was sleeping peacefully with his palms folded on his belly.
This mysterious man was shaken because he was touched when he saw the figure of the man in the coffin. Then he rubbed the face of the man who was cold as ice and there was no sign of life while saying with a smile, "Finally we meet again after passing through several centuries."
Then he took out a dagger, sliced open his right palm, and dripped it into the sleeping man's mouth. It didn't take long for the warm blood to enter his body so making him slowly move from his fingers. The winged man took a few steps back from the coffin and waited for the awakening process.
Finally, the man in the coffin opened his eyes. The golden pupil of the eye glows like an orange crescent moon when it rises. His right hand held the edge of the coffin and he slowly got up from his long sleep.
"Master Rigel…." Said the winged man who was touched to see him.
The man turned to him and said, "Delvin?"
"Yes, my lord. Long time no see." Greet Delvin enthusiastically with teary eyes.
"Why did you wake me up? Grrr…" said the vampire as he hit Delvin's head.
"Ouch… ouch…"
"Your habit always wakes me up. Huh."
"He-he-he... Sorry Master.
"I was in a deep sleep. And then, you woke me up." He grumbled.
"Yes. But how long will you continue to sleep?" asked Delvin, his loyal servant.
"How long have I slept?"
"Five hundred twenty years, sir."
"Oh. It's quite a long time too. But I have no interest in this world. I want to go back to sleep again." Said the vampire as he lay back down in the coffin.
"Arrrgh… No, sir." Prevent Delvin while holding the vampire's arm.
"Why?" asked the vampire.
"Because I'm lonely without a master." Answered Delvin putting on a pitiful face.
"Hah??? Do you want me to hit you again?"
"No… No, Sir."
"Phew… Alright since I'm already awake, I want to see the change in this world."
Delvin smiled hearing this.
"Let's go from here." Greet Delvin while squatting down and offering his back. "I'll carry you, Master."
"Hah??? Well… I still haven't recovered my strength anyway."
"He-he-he…" Delvin smiled.
Drappp... Drappp... Drappp... There was the sound of footsteps getting closer.
"This is not good, sir. We must leave soon."
Delvin threw a light explosive bomb to destroy the concrete wall and they flew out of the museum.
"Looks like you've prepared all of this." Said the vampire.
"Yeah, that's how it is."
The vampire saw the sparkling light from above and the Eiffel Tower from a distance.
"It turns out that this country has changed so far." Vampire mumbles.
He also saw the full moon shining brightly.
"What season month is it?" asked Rigel.
"Snow moon, sir."
"Snow moon reminds me of that incident," Rigel mumbled in his heart.
There was a moment of silence and then Rigel spoke up, "Ha… Why do you remind me of that incident?"
"Eh??? Did I say something wrong?"
-------
Upon arrival at Delvin's residence. Delvin is a winged creature like a crow demon. He is the butler to Lord Rigel.
"Oh... So, this is your residence?" asked Rigel.
"Hmmm… It's just a condominium that can't be compared to a master's palace."
"The architecture in this era is like this. Hmmm…" muttered Rigel who was observing and looking at the night view from the height of the condo.
"Where is my castle?"
"It's already collapsed, master."
"Huh??? My majestic and beautiful castle has been swallowed up by time."
"He-he-he..."
"I'd better go back to a long sleep," Rigel muttered.
"Argh… Don't leave me again, sir."
"Yes... But your residence is already luxurious if I observe from the surroundings."
"Hopefully Mater will feel comfortable staying here."
"Thank you, Delvin."
"Eh??"
"Why? Don't you want to accept my thanks?"
"Ah. No… no… I was just surprised to hear that."
"You think I can't say thank you?"
"Eh??? Yeah… I think so."
"I also know thank you. After all, you've helped me a lot."
"Master…." Said Delvin who was touched.
"I take back what I said..."
"Ah... Don't sir. I also feel happy to be your servant. I will dedicate my life to master."
"Delvin. I want you to have a life that is free and not bound by me anymore."
"Yes sir. It doesn't matter to me. Anyway, Since Master has just woken up from a long slumber, here is the bag of blood that I got from the blood donation."
"What's this? You're telling me to drink this?" Rigel said as he took the blood bag.
"Yes sir… Is there something wrong? Isn't master a vampire?"
"I don't want to drink it." Rigel returned the blood bag to Delvin.
"B-but sir."
"Ah. I just have no desire to drink it from the bag. I'd rather just eat vegetables and fruits."
"Hah?" Delvin was confused. "Is my master already a vegetarian? Is he really my master?" Delvin muttered in astonishment.
"Hey Delvin ..." said Rigel, breaking Delvin's thoughts.
"Yes, my lord."
"Please just prepare it. I want to take a short walk in this country."
"Alright, my lord."
Then, Rigel left the residence. By jumping from one roof to another, he looked around the land of this era. After his master left, Delvin mumbled, "Is my master's brain troubled from sleeping too long?"
"This city is bustling too." Said Rigel who was watching from behind the roof. He saw that some people were chasing the others. This sight caught his attention. Then he came down and saw someone holding a woman hostage.
"Tch. Someone will do something wrong." Rigel muttered.
