Rose struggled to run even though it hurt her.
"I have to run as hard as I could to avoid it as far as possible. Even when you're healthy, it's hard to run away from a bear. Furthermore, when you're sick," she muttered.
Rose screamed as loudly as she could, so her voice echoed, "Help!!!! Help!!!!"
She screamed repeatedly, hoping someone would help her.
When the bear almost caught up and was about to grab Rose's back with its paws, Rose accidentally fell.
"Brak!"
She could only see the fierce black bear. "S-Sorry... If I woke you up," said Rose, stammering.
An animal that has just woken up and is hungry, when it sees prey, will not let it escape. His instinct is to get rid of his hunger. What the bear saw, Rose was food. The bear only had to attack her once, so it could fill its stomach.
When the bear was about to swing its arms, suddenly a big wolf pounced on the bear from the side so that the bear fell. Rose was shocked to see it and mixed with amazement. She saw a big wolf with its fluffy silver-gray fur. She was safe for a while. The wolf and the bear fought with each other. She was really surprised to see the two big animals were fighting and it made her legs feel weak.
But she encouraged herself, "It's time for me to run away!!"
She tried to get up and run. Not long after, the wolf won the battle. It allowed the bear to escape, but not for Rose. Yes, the wolf was chasing Rose. Rose heard a voice chasing after her while muttering, "Why is it still chasing me? Didn't it already get a bigger prey than me? Could it be that it ran away from the bear?"
Rose walked down the snowy road and entered the expanse of pine trees.
"It's better if I go into a place with lots of trees, thus reducing its movement. I almost reached my limit. It feels cramped. Hosh... Hosh... If I know this, I should exercise regularly."
She was getting tired, and her speed slowly decreased.
"One problem has indeed passed, but another problem that is no less terrible appears. Will I die here? Even though no one cares about me, I don't want to be torn to shreds here!"
Rose tried to speed up her run. She didn't realize the pain she got from falling. She had already run through quite a distance. However, a human's stamina had a limit and the one chasing her was not an ordinary wolf. Finally, Rose staggered and fell facedown in exhaustion. Poor lady.
"BRAK!"
Rose turned around and, sure enough, the wolf seemed to be waiting to eat. They faced each other.
Previously, Rose took a stick of wood that was seen when she was running just in case. Even though she was afraid, she still encouraged herself.
"Relax, I've been through all kinds of dangers, and I can get through this. However, I can't beat the wolves. I'm only human. But I also don't want to die in vain. The wolf's gaze is unfriendly, and it looks like it's about to attack me in a minute."
Rose got up and threw off the snow by swinging a stick, then proceeded to run away as fast as she could. She descended the snowy path and skated.
"I have to run as far away as possible."
However, the attempt to escape was overtaken. The wolf quickly jumped up until he was in front of Rose. She alerted by holding a stick firmly. Then suddenly the wolf attacked. Rose hit him but the attack meant nothing to him. Immediately, the big wolf brushed it off and the wood was thrown.
Compared to the wolf, Rose only looked petite and now she was shaking. The wolf attacked Rose with its forelegs, knocked her down on the snow, and pressed against Rose's shoulders with its sharp fangs showing.
"Urgh... So strong. I can't do anything anymore. Its blue eyes staring at me and sharp fangs, am I going to be eaten by it?" Thought a helpless Rose.
Then she said while struggling, "Let go of me... Let go..."
She couldn't hold back and started to cry while begging," Please let me go. I haven't felt love yet. My life is lonely. Why do I have to die like this?" Even though he only looked like a wild animal, Rose hoped that animal would understand.
The wolf was shocked and became doubtful at the sight of the teary-eyed woman. The wolf released his grip. For a moment, Rose was released from his grip and immediately she stood up and backed away slowly. However, the wolf heard the word lonely, it became the trigger for his anger. He reminisced about why he had descended into this world and experienced loneliness. Not long after that, the wolf turned violent again, as if he had lost consciousness.
Then the wolf unleashed his attack with a flurry of claws. The gathered wind and the snow hit Rose. The wind mixed with snow stabbed her. She was slashed like a knife cut into several parts; face, hands, feet until she finally crashed and hit a tree.
"Argh!!"
"Tess... Tess..." Now her blood stained the white snow.
The wolf walked closer. But Rose saw a tree trunk that was about to fall, and that animal didn't notice.
"Watch out!" Rose shouted reflexively, even though the wolf had attacked her.
The wolf was shocked and immediately dodged. However, due to the wolf's previous attack, the ground where Rose was standing then cracked and shattered, causing her to fall onto the cliff. She saw the vast sky and felt relieved. In the dim vision, the fox plunged too. "Does it still want to continue chasing me again? Ah, never mind. I do not care anymore. Finally, I give up", Rose muttered.
Then slowly there was a human figure who reached out his hand to grab Rose.
"Am I hallucinating?" said Rose as she closed her eyes because her head was dizzy from hitting a tree. She was unconscious after that.
The wolf said," A little more...." He tried to grab her and succeeded. He held her arm and embraced Rose's body in both hands. It was as if time had stopped. They descended slowly until they reached the canyon. In the canyon, there was a clear stream of bluish-green water. Snowflakes were floating.
With silver-grey hair and white-purple clothes with an abdomen exposed, he took Rose to his residence. They entered the crystal-ice cave. Exploring the cave, it was a magnificent castle bluish like crystal.
